Registration

Registration of conference guests will be possible from 12 a.m. on 9 September at the lobby in Hotel Slon.

Registration is required for all Conference participants and accompanying persons. Individual registrations are available via the online registration form at www.iarigai-ljubljana.org.

Registration fees

* Categories apply to speakers only and are restricted to ONLY ONE author per presentation.

** Category applies only upon invitation to honorary members, invited speakers and guests.

The registration fee includes:

• Admission to all lectures
• Congress bag including the program with abstracts
• Admission to Welcome reception
• Coffee during breaks
• Lunch breaks
• Conference dinner
• Industrial visit
• Sightseeing of Ljubljana

The registration fee for accompanying persons includes:

Important

• Payments should clearly state the participant’s and/or accompanying person’s name(s).
• All payments should have the notification “IARIGAI”.
• For summary payment orders, please enclose a list of names.
• Payment or proof of payment should accompany the registration form.
• VAT (20%) is included in the registration fee.

Confirmation of registration

Your registration and all payments will be confirmed in writing upon the receipt of your registration form and payment or proof of payment.

Cancellations and refunds

All cancellations of the Conference registration, which must include your full bank account details, should be sent in writing to the Conference Secretariat, Cankarjev dom, Cultural and Congress Centre. The cancellations received by 5 August 2012 at the latest will be refunded in full except for the administrative fee of € 50. The refunds will be paid after the Conference. The cancellations received after 5 August 2012 will not be refunded.

Registration and information desk

The Registration Desk for IARIGAI 2012 will be located in the Foyer II of the Hotel Slon as follows:

• Saturday, 8 September 2012: 17.00–20.00      
• Sunday, 9 September 2012: 8.00–18.00
• Monday, 10 September 2012: 8.00–18.00
• Tuesday, 11 September 2012: 8.00–15.00

Conference identification badge

A conference identification badge will be included in the conference materials provided at the Registration. There will be no admittance to the scientific sessions without the conference badge. Invitations to social events will be collected at the entrance.

Attendance certificate

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all registered participants.

Visa requirements

For the citizens of many but not all countries, a valid passport (or personal identification card for the EU residents) is sufficient to enter Slovenia. Participants are advised to check the visa requirements at the nearest Slovenian embassy or consulate. Information on visas and addresses of Slovenian embassies is available on the web site of the Slovenian Ministry of foreign affairs at http://www.mzz.gov.si.

Participants who need a visa to enter Slovenia have to request a letter of guarantee which will be prepared by the Organizing Committee. Visa cannot be obtained without the letter of guarantee, which is intended to facilitate participant’s visa arrangements only and does not imply the provision of any financial or other support.

The organizer is authorized to demand payment of the registration fee before the visa procedure starts. Please note that all costs are to be covered by the participant (verification tax and DHL post costs if needed).
